We are looking for an accounting-focused administrative professional who combines strong financial accuracy, advanced Excel skills and hands-on use of Claude Code or OpenAI Codex. Join a technology-driven business group with operations in Spain and an international presence, and help improve how our accounting and administrative work gets done. Location and conditions 100% on-site at Torre Iberdrola, Plaza de Euskadi 5, 48009 Bilbao. Permanent contract. Working hours will be discussed individually. Gross annual salary: EUR 36,000-46,000. Your responsibilities Record and check issued and received invoices, maintain accounting records and supporting documents, and carry out bank, customer and supplier reconciliations. Investigate discrepancies and prepare reliable accounting information in coordination with external advisors. Build and improve Excel-based controls, reconciliations and reports, checking data quality and the accuracy of calculations. Use accounting software and ERPs efficiently, and identify practical improvements to document and data workflows. Apply Claude Code or OpenAI Codex to tasks such as extracting invoice data, processing files, preparing reconciliations and automating repetitive checks. Review every output before use and document reusable workflows. Support HR administration, including employee documentation, onboarding, contracts and payroll coordination with the relevant advisors. Court representation is not part of this role. Essential requirements University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Labour Relations or a related field. At least 3 years of relevant accounting or administrative experience, with practical responsibility for invoices, accounting records and reconciliations. Advanced Excel skills: formulas, lookups, pivot tables, data cleaning and reconciliation. You should be able to explain how you validate your work. Practical experience with DIAMACON or other accounting software/ERPs, and the ability to learn new applications. Current, hands-on ability to use Claude Code or OpenAI Codex. This is a fundamental requirement, not just an interest in AI or experience chatting with a general-purpose assistant. Be ready to explain a real workflow you have completed and how you checked its results. English at C1 level or equivalent; proficiency will be assessed. Accuracy, organisation, confidentiality and the ability to manage priorities independently. Tools and practical workflows Work confidently with DIAMACON or comparable accounting/ERP software: invoice registration, customer and supplier balances, bank reconciliation and preparation of month-end information. Use Excel formulas, pivot tables and Power Query where appropriate to import bank/ERP exports, clean data, reconcile balances and build exception reports. Handle CSV/XLSX files, searchable PDFs, OCR and document archives, keeping supporting records and a clear audit trail. Explore AI-enabled accounting applications and complementary AI assistants to extract, classify and check data. Compare outputs with source documents, handle exceptions manually and never treat AI output as an unchecked accounting entry. Strong advantages Professional German and/or French. Additional working languages are also valued; please state your actual level and how you use each language. Experience with AI-enabled accounting applications, Power Query, ERPs or document management systems. Experience in technology companies or international environments, and familiarity with HR administration. This role offers direct involvement in both day-to-day accounting and practical process improvement. We are interested in concrete examples of work you have personally done, including how you protect confidential information when using AI tools.
