We are looking to bring on board a Substation Control and Protection Engineer to join our Engineering Directorate, taking part in the development of High and Medium Voltage projects for leading clients in the energy sector.

If you have experience in protection, automation and control systems for electrical substations, this is an excellent opportunity to join a highly specialized team, working on strategic projects both nationally and internationally.

🎯 Purpose of the Role

Design and implement control and protection systems for electrical substations, ensuring their reliability, safety, operability and compliance with current technical regulations.

🔧 Main Responsibilities and Functions:

• Design control and protection systems for High and Medium Voltage electrical substations.

• Develop single-line, multi-line, functional and logic diagrams for protection and control.

• Define and specify protection relays, control cabinets, auxiliary systems and associated equipment.

• Prepare technical documentation, design reports and engineering specifications.

• Coordinate with the electrical, electromechanical, civil and control engineering teams to ensure the integration of all disciplines.

• Supervise the commissioning of facilities and take part in FAT and SAT tests.

• Resolve technical issues during the design, manufacturing and execution phases of projects.

• Maintain technical communication with clients, manufacturers and external collaborators.

• Ensure compliance with national and international regulations applicable to High Voltage installations.

🔎 Required Profile:

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical substation control and protection projects.

• Experience in designing protection and automation systems for High Voltage installations.

• Experience in international projects will be valued.

• Proficiency in electrical design tools such as AutoCAD, Eplan or similar.

• Knowledge of substation protection, control and automation systems.

• Knowledge of applicable national and international electrical regulations.

• Ability to prepare and review technical engineering documentation.

• Technical precision and autonomy.

🎯 Propósito del Puesto

Diseñar e implementar sistemas de control y protección para subestaciones eléctricas, garantizando su fiabilidad, seguridad, operatividad y cumplimiento de la normativa técnica vigente.

🔧 Responsabilidades y Funciones Principales:

• Diseñar sistemas de control y protección para subestaciones eléctricas de Alta y Media Tensión.

• Desarrollar esquemas unifilares, multifilares, funcionales y lógicos de protección y control.

• Definir y especificar relés de protección, armarios de control, sistemas auxiliares y equipos asociados.

• Elaborar documentación técnica, memorias de diseño y especificaciones de ingeniería.

• Coordinarse con los equipos de ingeniería eléctrica, electromecánica, civil y control para garantizar la integración de todas las disciplinas.

• Supervisar la puesta en marcha de las instalaciones y participar en pruebas FAT y SAT.

• Resolver incidencias técnicas durante las fases de diseño, fabricación y ejecución de los proyectos.

• Mantener la interlocución técnica con clientes, fabricantes y colaboradores externos.

• Garantizar el cumplimiento de la normativa nacional e internacional aplicable a instalaciones de Alta Tensión.

🔎 Perfil Requerido:

Titulación: Grado en Ingeniería Eléctrica o titulación equivalente.

• Experiencia mínima de 3 años en proyectos de control y protección de subestaciones eléctricas.

• Experiencia en diseño de sistemas de protección y automatización para instalaciones de Alta Tensión.

• Dominio de herramientas de diseño eléctrico como AutoCAD, Eplan o similares.

• Conocimiento de sistemas de protección, control y automatización de subestaciones.

• Conocimiento de normativa eléctrica nacional e internacional aplicable.

• Capacidad para elaborar y revisar documentación técnica de ingeniería.

• Precisión técnica y autonomía.

• Capacidad analítica y orientación a la resolución de problemas.

• Trabajo colaborativo en equipos multidisciplinares.

• Orientación a resultados y mejora continua.

• Capacidad de aprendizaje y adaptación tecnológica.

• Excelentes habilidades de comunicación e interlocución técnica.

• Se valorará experiencia en proyectos internacionales.

• Inglés técnico.
