• Other technologies: Quarkus, Kotlin and Python.

What you’ll do

• Work closely with quality, security and product specialists to ensure unbeatable software design, delivery and quality.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and enhance software solutions.
• Work within a team of engineers and product owners using agile methodologies.
• Deploy software into production and provide operational support.
• Build solutions from the ground up while collaborating in an inclusive, international environment.
• Promote an end-to-end DevOps philosophy throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
• Follow best practices across every aspect of the SDLC, including design, coding, testing, operational procedures and monitoring.
• Give and receive constructive feedback through code reviews.
• Help foster a culture of continuous improvement by proposing and implementing enhancements that optimise the SDLC.
• Direct AI coding agents as part of everyday delivery by providing clear context, critically reviewing their output and taking ownership of the quality, security and design of everything that ships.

What you’ll bring

• Experience designing, creating, evaluating, deploying, securing, maintaining and evolving software solutions.
• An understanding of data modelling, software architecture and how different systems interact.
• An agile approach to development and a good understanding of lean and agile methodologies.
• Experience working with CI/CD practices and tools.
• A collaborative and respectful attitude, with the ability to communicate effectively with different stakeholders.
• Curiosity about new languages and frameworks, along with a willingness to experiment with emerging technologies.
• A commitment to quality through the design, implementation and maintenance of comprehensive unit and integration tests.
• Familiarity with AI-generated code and the ability to assess its testing, readability and architectural fit.
• An understanding of when AI assistance adds genuine value throughout the software development lifecycle.
