As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google's needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. What you'll do

Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software.
Design and implement complex features for medium-to-large projects, managing priorities, deadlines, and deliverables separately.
Research, design, and implement AI-driven solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) for various security-related use cases (e.g., natural language understanding of threat intelligence, automated report generation, intelligent query processing).
Architect and deploy autonomous and semi-autonomous AI agents capable of performing complex tasks, such as automated malware analysis, threat hunting, or incident response support.
Own the entire life-cycle of AI-powered features, from ideation and prototyping to production deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with Vertex AI and AI Platform.
2 years of experience with software development in Python or Go, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
1 year of experience with one or more of the following: Speech/audio (e.g., technology duplicating and responding to the human voice), reinforcement learning (e.g., sequential decision making), ML infrastructure, or specialization in another ML field.
1 year of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, debugging).

Nice to have

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
Experience developing accessible technologies.
Experience in the cybersecurity domain, particularly with malware analysis, threat hunting, or digital risk protection.

What you'll get

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Spain: €70000 - €71500 (EUR) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits.
