Senior Python Developer (SQL / Oracle / PostgreSQL) - 100% Remote Spain en Madrid, España

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, optimization, and support of critical backend systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building enterprise-grade applications in Python, strong expertise in relational databases, and a proven track record of troubleshooting complex distributed environments.

Location: 100% Remote (Spain-based candidates only)
Language: Advanced English (C1) required

• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize backend applications using Python.
• Develop and manage database solutions using SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent tools.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in complex distributed systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture decisions.
• Ensure software reliability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Support deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• 7+ years of professional experience with Python.
• Strong experience with relational databases: SQL Server / Oracle / PostgreSQL
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions / Jenkins / Or equivalent platforms
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in distributed systems.
• Advanced English level (C1).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Java and Spring Boot (microservices development).
• Financial services domain knowledge: Trading / Market Risk / FRTB / IMA
• Integration middleware experience: TIBCO / MQ / Kafka
• Cloud platforms: AWS / Azure / GCP
• Docker and Kubernetes.
• Scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys).
• Scripting and automation: PowerShell / Bash
