About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our innovative AI team in Barcelona. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge machine learning solutions for our leading automotive and manufacturing clients. This is a Full-time, on-site position where you'll work on complex data pipelines and AI models that directly impact production optimization and quality assurance across Europe's most advanced industrial facilities.

Who are we looking for

We're looking for a passionate Machine Learning professional with a strong background in Python, TensorFlow, and cloud-based ML platforms. You should have at least 5 years of experience developing production-grade ML systems, preferably in the automotive or industrial sectors. Fluency in Spanish is required as you'll be collaborating closely with our Spanish-speaking clients and team members. You must be comfortable working with large datasets, implementing MLOps best practices, and mentoring junior engineers. A strong understanding of data engineering principles and experience with Apache Spark is a significant advantage.

Skills and competencies

• Advanced proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala
• Expertise in machine learning frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn
• Strong background in data engineering and SQL optimization
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS ML services
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Demonstrated experience with real-time data processing and streaming architectures
• Solid understanding of statistics, linear algebra, and algorithmic complexity
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Native or fluent Spanish language skills
• Strong communication and team collaboration abilities
