Senior Java Developer & Team Lead en Madrid, España

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer & Team Lead to join our Madrid office on a hybrid basis. This is a permanent position where you will lead a talented team of developers while maintaining hands-on involvement in architectural decisions and code implementation. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies including Java, Spring Boot, and AWS to build scalable enterprise solutions. Your leadership will guide the team through complex technical challenges while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Who are we looking for

We're looking for a passionate technical leader with deep expertise in Java development and proven team management experience. You should have a minimum of 8+ years in software development with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Your ideal profile includes:

• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot ecosystem
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and microservices architecture
• Proven ability to mentor and develop junior developers
• Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English
• Experience managing client relationships and stakeholder expectations
• Knowledge of TypeScript for full-stack understanding
• Agile/Scrum methodology experience
