Who are we looking for

We're looking for an experienced Java developer with a strong passion for clean code and software architecture. You should have at least 5 years of professional experience in Java development and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate is someone who is proactive, communicative, and enjoys working in a team environment. You should be comfortable with hybrid work arrangements (3 days on-site, 2 days remote) and be based in or willing to relocate to Madrid. Fluency in Spanish and English is essential for this position.

Skills and competencies

• Expert-level proficiency in Java 11+ and object-oriented programming principles
• Strong experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data)
• Proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and SQL optimization
• Experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture
• Solid understanding of design patterns and SOLID principles
• Version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with JUnit, Mockito, and unit testing best practices
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies
