About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Functional Analyst to join our dynamic team in Madrid, Spain. In this Full-time, on-site position, you will serve as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and our technology teams, ensuring that complex functional requirements are transformed into robust technical solutions. You will be responsible for analyzing business processes, documenting functional specifications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact digital transformation initiatives.

Who are we looking for

We need a talented professional with 5+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst, preferably in the financial services or banking sector. You should possess exceptional analytical skills, strong communication abilities in Spanish and English, and a proven track record of successfully translating business needs into technical requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments while managing multiple stakeholder priorities.

Skills and competencies

• Advanced proficiency in business process analysis and documentation (BPMN, UML)
• Experience with requirements gathering and functional specification development
• Strong knowledge of banking/financial systems or ERP implementations
• Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or similar platforms
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Data analysis and SQL knowledge preferred
• Fluent in Spanish and English (both written and verbal)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
