About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to join our dynamic aerospace technology team in Spain. As a key member of our hardware development department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing embedded systems for advanced flight simulation and avionics integration platforms. This is a Full-time, on-site position where you'll work on cutting-edge technology that shapes the future of pilot training and aircraft systems validation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, aeronautical specialists, and project managers to deliver innovative hardware solutions that meet the highest industry standards.

Who are we looking for

We need a talented engineer with a passion for aerospace technology and proven expertise in embedded systems design. You should have a strong background in hardware engineering, with experience in designing complex electronic systems for industrial or aerospace applications. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. You must be fluent in Spanish and English, with strong communication skills. A background in avionics systems, real-time computing, or flight simulation is highly valued. You should be comfortable working with technical documentation, schematics, and CAD tools, and have experience bringing hardware concepts from design phase to production implementation.

Skills and competencies

• Advanced proficiency in embedded systems design and microcontroller programming (ARM, AVR, or similar architectures)
• Expertise in hardware design tools (EAGLE, KiCAD, or Altium Designer)
• Strong knowledge of digital and analog circuit design
• Experience with real-time operating systems and firmware development
• Proficiency in C/C++ and assembly language programming
• Understanding of aerospace standards and certification requirements (DO-254, DO-178)
• Experience with PCB design, layout, and manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of avionics systems integration and panel interfaces
• Excellent technical documentation and report writing abilities
• Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken)

Technical Requirements

Experience with FPGA design, hardware-in-the-loop testing, or avionics panel integration would be advantageous. Knowledge of communication protocols (CAN, ARINC, Ethernet) and experience with real equipment integration into simulation systems is essential. You should be comfortable working with complex technical specifications and have demonstrated success in completing hardware projects from conception through production.
