About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to join our avionics integration team in a full-time, on-site position. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating complex hardware systems for advanced flight simulation platforms. This role combines technical expertise with innovative problem-solving to create cutting-edge simulation environments for pilot training and aircraft certification. You'll work with state-of-the-art equipment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and aviation professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom hardware interfaces for integrating real avionics equipment into flight simulation cabins
• Analyze complex technical documentation of aircraft panels, navigation systems, and flight control systems
• Create detailed electrical schematics and PCB layouts for specialized simulation hardware
• Conduct rigorous testing and validation of integrated systems to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Collaborate with software engineers to ensure seamless hardware-software integration
• Document technical specifications and maintain detailed project records
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware integration issues during development and testing phases
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous process improvement

You must have excellent analytical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

Skills and Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in hardware design and integration
• Proficiency with CAD software (Altium Designer, KiCAD, or equivalent)
• Expert knowledge of circuit design, PCB layout, and signal integrity
• Experience with avionics systems, aircraft instrumentation, or flight simulation equipment
• Strong understanding of aerospace standards and compliance requirements (DO-254, IPC standards)
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other electronic testing equipment
• Excellent technical documentation and communication skills
• Fluent Spanish language skills (required)
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
