We are seeking a talented Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic technology team in Madrid. This is a Full-time, on-site position where you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust cloud infrastructure solutions. You will work closely with development teams to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability of our cloud-based applications. Your expertise will be crucial in automating deployment processes, managing containerized environments, and establishing best practices for infrastructure as code.
Who are we looking for
We are looking for a highly skilled professional with a minimum of 6 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. You should have a deep understanding of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, with proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems. We need someone who is passionate about automation, has excellent problem-solving skills, and can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Your communication skills should be exceptional, and you should be comfortable mentoring junior team members.
Skills and competencies
Proficiency with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Strong experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Expert-level knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
Mastery of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
Advanced Linux/Unix system administration skills
Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, ELK Stack, Datadog)
Strong scripting abilities (Python, Bash, Go)
Knowledge of network architecture and security best practices
Excellent documentation and technical writing skills
