We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic technology team in Madrid. This is a Full-time, on-site position where you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with development teams to ensure seamless deployment pipelines, infrastructure automation, and optimal system performance. Your expertise will be crucial in scaling our operations and maintaining high availability across all services.

We seek an experienced professional with a strong background in cloud technologies and infrastructure management. You should be passionate about automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines. You must be a problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and can work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to technical documentation is highly valued.
Skills and competencies
Proficiency with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker containerization
Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
Expertise in CI/CD pipeline development and GitLab/GitHub implementation
Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems administration
Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, ELK Stack)
Excellent scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go
Strong knowledge of network architecture and security best practices
Experience with database administration and backup strategies
Excellent communication and documentation skills

Additional Requirements:
Minimum 6 years of experience in DevOps or cloud infrastructure roles
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Proven track record of managing production environments serving thousands of users
Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning
Familiarity with agile methodologies and sprint-based development
English fluency required; Spanish is a plus
