About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic infrastructure team in Madrid. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust cloud-based infrastructure solutions that support our rapidly growing organization. This is a full-time, on-site position where you'll work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of our systems.

Who are we looking for

We're looking for a talented DevOps professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and containerization technologies. You should have a strong background in Linux/Unix systems administration, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for automation and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while also being an excellent team player. Experience with agile methodologies and previous experience working in startups or fast-paced environments is highly valued.

Skills and competencies

• Advanced proficiency with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Expert-level knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
• Strong scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or Go
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
• Proficient with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
• Deep understanding of networking, security protocols, and system architecture
• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, ELK Stack, Datadog)
• Knowledge of database administration and backup strategies
• Excellent communication skills and ability to document infrastructure decisions
• Certification in cloud platforms is a plus
