About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing infrastructure team in Barcelona. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. This is a Full-time, on-site position where you'll work closely with development and operations teams to streamline our deployment processes and infrastructure management.
Who are we looking for
We're looking for a talented professional with 5+ years of experience in infrastructure operations and cloud technologies. You should have a strong background in Linux systems administration, containerization, and orchestration platforms. We need someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about automation. A deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code principles is essential. You must be comfortable working in a collaborative environment and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS/Azure
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Ansible
- Implement and monitor CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools
- Ensure system security, reliability, and disaster recovery procedures
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve infrastructure-related issues
- Monitor system performance and implement optimization strategies
- Document infrastructure architecture and operational procedures
Skills and competencies
- Expert-level knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and bash scripting
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
- CI/CD pipeline expertise (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Database administration basics and SQL knowledge
- Networking fundamentals and security best practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Spanish language skills are required for this position

Technical Requirements
Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack is highly valuable. Familiarity with Infrastructure security, compliance requirements, and best practices in DevOps is expected. You should demonstrate knowledge of version control systems (Git) and have experience working in agile environments. A background in software development is a plus but not mandatory.
