We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team in Barcelona. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You will work closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration and continuous delivery of our applications. This is a full-time, on-site position where you will play a crucial role in enhancing our operational efficiency and system reliability.
Who are we looking for
We are looking for a talented DevOps professional with a strong background in cloud technologies and infrastructure automation. You should have at least 5 years of experience in DevOps or a similar role, with proven expertise in containerization, orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who is passionate about automation, possesses excellent communication skills, and can work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Skills and competencies
Proficiency with Kubernetes and Docker containerization
Expert-level experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
Solid understanding of networking, security, and database administration
Scripting expertise in Bash, Python, or Go
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, ELK, or DataDog
Knowledge of Linux operating systems and system administration
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and documentation abilities
