About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our rapidly growing technology team in Madrid. In this Full-time, on-site position, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure while ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies and lead infrastructure initiatives that support our expanding portfolio of applications and services. This is a strategic role where you'll collaborate with development teams, architects, and security specialists to create robust solutions that power our platform.

Who are we looking for

We're looking for a talented professional with a minimum of 6 years of DevOps and cloud engineering experience. You should have deep expertise in AWS or Azure, strong knowledge of containerization technologies, and a proven track record of implementing CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate is proactive, solution-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative environment. You must demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to mentor junior team members. Spanish language proficiency is preferred for this position based in Madrid.

Skills and competencies

• Advanced proficiency with AWS or Azure cloud platforms
• Expert-level knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
• Deep understanding of networking, security, and compliance best practices
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, ELK Stack, Datadog)
• Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go
• Strong knowledge of database management and backup strategies
• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
