About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Infrastructure Operations team in Madrid, Spain. This is a Full-time, on-site position where you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. You will work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal system performance and reliability. This role offers the opportunity to lead infrastructure projects, mentor junior team members, and contribute to the strategic direction of our technical operations.

Who are we looking for

We're looking for a professional with 5+ years of experience in DevOps and cloud infrastructure management. Ideal candidates will have deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, strong Linux/Unix administration skills, and experience with containerization technologies. You should be a problem-solver with excellent communication skills, capable of working independently and as part of a team. A passion for automation, continuous improvement, and staying current with technology trends is essential. Fluent Spanish and English are required for this position.

Skills and competencies

• Advanced proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Expert-level Linux/Unix system administration
• Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
• Strong networking and database administration knowledge
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages
• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, ELK Stack, Datadog)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities

Technical Environment

You'll be working with a modern technology stack including AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, Docker containers, and automated deployment pipelines. Our infrastructure supports high-availability systems serving thousands of users globally. You will have the opportunity to work on greenfield projects as well as optimize existing systems.
