Track record of successful research-to-production implementations at scale.
History of contributions to open-source ML projects.

CrowdStrike is seeking a Sr Applied Researcher to join our team building greenfield next-generation AI that stops breaches and is powered by large language models (LLMs), deep learning, and other modern AI techniques.. You will work closely with other scientists and software engineers to provide technical leadership and strategic direction, while driving innovation in our AI capabilities.
You will shape the technical vision by bringing leading edge AI technology into our product, contribute to production systems, and make high-impact decisions that influence the company's AI strategy. This is a unique opportunity to lead groundbreaking developments in cybersecurity AI that will help keep our customers safe. Advanced degree (PhD or Masters) in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
8+ years of applied machine learning / research experience, with demonstrated leadership in developing production-grade models.
Deep expertise in LLM and deep learning training and deployment at scale.
Have a bias-for-action, ability to make high-judgement decisions, and be comfortable in the face of ambiguity.
Strong technical leadership experience, including mentoring teams and driving technical strategy.
Advanced knowledge of Python, Deep Learning frameworks, and cloud technologies.
Expert-level understanding of GPU technologies and optimisation techniques.
Outstanding communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Track record of solving complex technical challenges at scale.
