About the role

At TechCore Solutions, we are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Infrastructure Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud ecosystems. This is a Full-time, on-site position based in Madrid, Spain, where you will work with cutting-edge cloud technologies to support our growing portfolio of enterprise clients across Europe. You will be responsible for architecting complex cloud solutions, optimizing infrastructure costs, and ensuring compliance with international security standards.

Who are we looking for

We're looking for a visionary architect with 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure design and deployment. You should have deep expertise in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization technologies, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, mentor junior engineers, and drive innovation within our infrastructure teams. You must demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to security best practices.

Skills and competencies

Advanced proficiency in AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized architectures
Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies
Understanding of network security, firewalls, VPNs, and encryption protocols
Proficiency in monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, ELK Stack)
Excellent project management and team leadership skills
Strong communication abilities in English and Spanish

Employment Type: Full-time, permanent contract

Salary Range: €85,000 - €125,000 a year (based on experience)

Additional Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Professional certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or equivalent) preferred
Proven track record of successful large-scale cloud migrations
Experience with enterprise-level security compliance (ISO 27001, GDPR)
Ability to travel occasionally for client meetings (approximately 10-15% of time)
