We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our growing technology team in Madrid. This is a Full-time, on-site position where you will design and develop robust backend systems using Java and Spring Framework. You will work on scalable microservices architecture, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior developers. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects that serve thousands of users daily.
We're looking for an experienced backend engineer with a passion for clean code and system design. You should have a deep understanding of software architecture principles and be comfortable working in an agile environment. You are someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, takes ownership of your work, and is committed to continuous learning. We value developers who can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and who are eager to share knowledge with their team.
You will work with modern technologies including Java 17+, Spring Boot 3.x, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Kubernetes. Our infrastructure is cloud-based on AWS, and we follow DevOps best practices. Code reviews and pair programming are integral to our development process, ensuring high code quality and knowledge sharing.
