About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our innovative technology team in Spain. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the leading Spanish IT companies, boasting over 28 years of expertise and an exceptional portfolio of technological solutions for enterprise clients. You will be responsible for architecting and developing scalable backend systems using Python and containerization technologies. This position is Full-time and on-site.
Who are we looking for
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Senior Backend Developer with a minimum of 6 years of professional experience. You should have a proven track record of designing and implementing robust, scalable systems in production environments. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in collaborative environments, takes ownership of their work, and continuously seeks to improve their technical skills. You should be comfortable working with cloud-native technologies and have a strong understanding of software architecture principles.
Skills and competencies
Expert-level proficiency in Python and its ecosystem (Django, FastAPI, asyncio)
Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Knowledge of API design and RESTful web services
Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset
Excellent communication skills and team collaboration
Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
