About the role

We are seeking an experienced Avionics Systems Engineer to join our innovative aerospace technology company based in Barcelona, Spain. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating cutting-edge avionics hardware and systems for advanced flight simulation platforms. You will work with complex technical documentation, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to projects that push the boundaries of flight training technology. This is a full-time, on-site position that offers the opportunity to work on state-of-the-art simulation cabins used by major airlines and military organizations worldwide.

Who are we looking for

We need a passionate and detail-oriented engineer with a strong background in avionics systems and hardware integration. You should have proven experience working with flight simulator equipment, a deep understanding of aerospace standards and protocols, and excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in avionics or aerospace engineering, be fluent in Spanish and English, and demonstrate strong communication abilities. You must be capable of working independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment. A passion for aviation and commitment to precision is essential.

Skills and competencies

• Proficiency in avionics systems architecture and design
• Experience with CAD software (CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, or similar)
• Knowledge of aerospace standards (DO-178C, DO-254, RTCA standards)
• Hardware design and integration expertise
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience with panel systems and flight deck equipment
• Fluent in Spanish and English (both written and verbal)
• Familiarity with MATLAB, Simulink, or similar simulation tools
• Knowledge of electrical systems and schematics
• Project management and documentation skills
