We are seeking an experienced Senior Avionics Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team in Madrid, Spain. In this on-site, full-time position, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge avionics systems for advanced flight simulation platforms. You'll work closely with our hardware and software teams to ensure seamless integration of complex aviation equipment into state-of-the-art simulator cabins. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to projects that enhance pilot training and aerospace innovation.
We're looking for a talented engineer with a passion for aviation technology and a proven track record in avionics systems integration. You should have strong technical expertise in hardware design, systems architecture, and flight simulation technology. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Spanish language proficiency is required for this position. You should be comfortable analyzing complex technical documentation and translating requirements into practical engineering solutions.
You will need to possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field. Experience with specific avionics platforms such as Garmin, Collins, or Thales systems is highly valued. Knowledge of DO-178C and DO-254 standards is essential. Familiarity with software development lifecycles and systems integration methodologies is required. You should have minimum 5 years of experience in avionics or related hardware engineering roles.
