We are looking for an Azure Data Engineer to join an international project focused on data management and processing within an Azure-based environment.

The role is mainly focused on adaptation and migration , implementing existing Data Area capabilities into another backend environment. The architecture and patterns are already established, so the main challenge will be to replicate and adapt existing functionalities rather than build them from scratch .

What are we looking for?

• Strong experience with Python 3.11+ .
• Solid experience with Django and Django REST Framework .
• Experience with MongoDB , ideally MongoDB Atlas.
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs and external data services.
• Data processing experience with pandas and NumPy .
• Testing with pytest .
• Experience with Git-based workflows, code reviews, Jira and Confluence .
• Experience working in Azure environments .

Main responsibilities

• Adapt and migrate existing data management and processing capabilities into a new backend environment.
• Work on the upload-to-analysis chain .
• Implement metadata management and manipulation capabilities.
• Work with data upload, retrieval and deletion processes and external service integrations.
• Ensure the existing architecture patterns are correctly replicated and integrated.

• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks and Spark/PySpark .

Conditions :

Language: English (C1) / Spanish (C1).

Location: FULLREMOTE.

Schedule: 40h/week. Flexible.
