About the role

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in the evolution of the technology platform. Your mission will be to contribute to the redesign and scaling of an architecture prepared for growth, interoperability, new capabilities, and robust integration with partners, devices, and corporate systems. You will participate in both the technical construction and the transformation of the platform model.

What you'll do

Main duties:

Drive the evolution of the platform toward a cloud-native, modular, service-oriented architecture, capable of supporting growth, operational resilience, and response times aligned with an expanding digital business.
Design and evolve critical interoperability capabilities with chargers, operators, manufacturers, and partners using standards such as OCPP, OCPI, ISO 15118, and other protocols in the eMobility and IoT ecosystem.
Develop and industrialize APIs, microservices, and integration components that enable the platform to connect securely and scalably with corporate systems, energy solutions, payment methods, operational tools, and third-party services.
Contribute to the transformation of the platform product, incorporating advanced capabilities in grid operation, automation, continuous deployment, cybersecurity, data management, and quality of service.
Coordinate and supervise technical deliverables from development providers, ensuring architectural consistency, functional robustness, software quality, and alignment with the business technology roadmap.
Participate in the prioritization and execution of enhancements, maintenance, and transformation projects.
Analyze market trends and new platform capabilities.

Required skills

Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
Solid experience in analysis, design, and development of backend software in distributed environments, digital products, or highly integrated ecosystems.
Knowledge of architectures based on microservices, APIs, containers, and cloud environments, with a focus on scalability, resilience, maintainability, and observability.
Experience in systems integration and protocols in the electric mobility ecosystem, especially OCPP, OCPI, ISO 15118, OICP, or equivalent.
Ability to work with DevOps technologies and practices, deployment automation, CI/CD, Kubernetes, GitLab, Azure, and monitoring tools.
Knowledge of secure software design, authentication, identity management, API protection, and cybersecurity criteria applicable to connected platforms.
Valuable experience in advanced platform capabilities such as smart charging, energy management, telemetry, data analytics, real-time events, or IoT environment integration.
Experience in agile environments and in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and external providers.
English B2 or higher.

What you'll do

Funciones principales:

Impulsar la evolución de la plataforma hacia una arquitectura cloud-native, modular y orientada a servicios, capaz de soportar crecimiento, resiliencia operativa y tiempos de respuesta acordes con un negocio digital en expansión.
Diseñar y evolucionar capacidades críticas de interoperabilidad con cargadores, operadores, fabricantes y partners mediante estándares como OCPP, OCPI, ISO 15118 y otros protocolos del ecosistema eMobility e IoT.
Desarrollar e industrializar APIs, microservicios y componentes de integración que permitan conectar de forma segura y escalable la plataforma con sistemas corporativos, soluciones energéticas, medios de pago, herramientas operativas y servicios de terceros.
Contribuir a la transformación del producto plataforma, incorporando capacidades avanzadas de operación de red, automatización, despliegue continuo, ciberseguridad, gestión del dato y calidad de servicio.
Coordinar y supervisar entregables técnicos de proveedores de desarrollo, asegurando consistencia arquitectónica, robustez funcional, calidad del software y alineamiento con la hoja de ruta tecnológica del negocio.
