Strong experience with Laravel 10/11 and comfort working with older Laravel 8/9 codebases
In-depth knowledge of PHP 8.3+
Excellent SQL skills across MySQL and PostgreSQL
Fluency in Git version control and GitHub PR workflow
Experience with Kafka and Avro schemas, including producers, consumers, and Schema Registry
Confidence working with Jira
Familiarity with CI/CD compliance tools, including PHPStan, PHPCS, PHPUnit, and ESLint
Experience with Docker
Solid understanding of the application lifecycle, including migrations, deploys, and rollbacks
Experience with unit and integration testing, including Test-Driven Development
Experience writing applications compatible with common logging interfaces
Comfort using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot in daily workflows, including writing effective prompts, reviewing model output, and validating generated diffs
Positive attitude toward feature flags and incremental rollouts
