Materials Specialist Engineer en España

We are looking to bring on board a MATERIALS SPECIALIST ENGINEER to join our INDUSTRY/PIPING team, taking part in projects of national and international scope with high technical demands.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to developing solutions that respond to real challenges on a global scale, working alongside specialized teams.

· Develop and maintain piping material specifications (Piping Material Classes).

· Select suitable materials based on process conditions, pressure, temperature, and corrosion.

· Prepare and review technical specifications, data sheets, and purchase requisitions.

· Evaluate and approve supplier technical documentation.

· Ensure compliance with international standards and codes such as ASME, ASTM, API, ISO, and EN.

· Provide technical support to the Process, Stress, Equipment, Procurement, Construction, and Inspection disciplines.

· Participate in technical meetings with clients, suppliers, and inspection bodies.

· Manage technical queries and supply deviations.

· Contribute to the standardization and optimization of materials within the organization.

· Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Metallurgical, Materials Engineering, or equivalent.

· Minimum of 10 years of experience in piping materials engineering in sectors such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, Energy, or Hydrogen.

· Solid knowledge of metallic materials and special alloys: Carbon Steel, LTCS, Stainless Steel, Duplex, Super Duplex, Alloy Steel, Nickel Alloys, among others.

· Command of ASME, ASTM, and API codes and standards.

· Experience in developing Piping Material Specifications and piping classes.

· Advanced Excel level.

· High level of technical English.

Tendrás la oportunidad de contribuir al desarrollo de soluciones que dan respuesta a desafíos reales a escala global, trabajando junto a equipos especializados.

· Desarrollar y mantener las especificaciones de materiales de tuberías (Piping Material Classes).

· Seleccionar materiales adecuados en función de las condiciones de proceso, presión, temperatura y corrosión.

· Elaborar y revisar especificaciones técnicas, hojas de datos y requisiciones de compra.

· Evaluar y aprobar documentación técnica de proveedores.

· Garantizar el cumplimiento de normas y códigos internacionales como ASME, ASTM, API, ISO y EN.

· Dar soporte técnico a las disciplinas de Proceso, Estrés, Equipos, Compras, Construcción e Inspección.

· Participar en reuniones técnicas con clientes, proveedores y organismos de inspección.

· Gestionar consultas técnicas y desviaciones de suministro.

· Contribuir a la estandarización y optimización de materiales dentro de la organización.

· Titulación en Ingeniería Mecánica, Industrial, Metalúrgica, de Materiales o equivalente.

· Experiencia mínima de 10 años en ingeniería de materiales de tuberías en sectores como Oil & Gas, Petroquímica, Química, Energía o Hidrógeno.

· Conocimiento sólido de materiales metálicos y aleaciones especiales: Carbon Steel, LTCS, Stainless Steel, Duplex, Super Duplex, Alloy Steel, Nickel Alloys, entre otros.

· Dominio de códigos y estándares ASME, ASTM y API.

· Experiencia en el desarrollo de Piping Material Specifications y clases de tuberías.

· Nivel avanzado de Excel

· Nivel alto de inglés técnico.
