At Adecco Selección we are looking to bring on a Master Data Technician and SAP Migration specialist to collaborate on a project involving the organization, cleansing, and preparation of information prior to its migration to SAP.
The position will mainly be carried out in collaboration with the Purchasing department, although it may also provide support to other areas of the company. This is not just about entering data: we are looking for someone capable of analyzing it, detecting inconsistencies, and ensuring its quality before migration.
What will your mission be?
Review, cleanse, and standardize the article master, ensuring that the information meets the established criteria for migration to SAP.
What will be your main responsibilities?
Analyze the article master and review the quality of existing data.
Detect duplicates, coding errors, incorrect descriptions, obsolete articles, and incomplete data.
Clean, structure, and standardize the information required for migration.
Complete and correct mandatory fields according to the criteria defined in the SAP project.
Review units of measure, families, article groups, material types, and internal and external references.
Validate data related to purchasing, warehouse, stock, and planning.
Cross-reference information from different files, systems, and databases.
Prepare upload templates, working files, and validation lists.
Produce follow-up reports, incident reports, and lists of pending data for review.
Maintain traceability of the modifications made.
Escalate to the project manager any inconsistencies that require a functional decision.
Ensure compliance with the criteria established for data migration to SAP.

Requirements
Experience in data processing, analysis, cleansing, or maintenance.
Experience working with master data.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, an essential requirement.
Experience or knowledge of SAP.
Ability to work with large volumes of information.
Organized, analytical, and methodical profile with high attention to detail.
Judgment to detect inconsistencies, validate information, and ensure data quality.
We will particularly value:
Knowledge of SAP MM.
Participation in data migration projects, SAP implementation, or database cleansing.
Knowledge of purchasing, warehouse, logistics, or stock management processes.
Ability to interpret technical references, units of measure, and article codes.
Proficiency with Power BI, databases, SharePoint, Teams, and other Microsoft 365 tools.
Vocational training or a degree in Administration, Logistics, or similar areas.
What do we offer?
Contract tied to the duration of the project.
Immediate start.
Salary of €29,169.46 gross per year.
Location: A Coruña / Arteixo.
Working hours Monday to Thursday, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Continuous working day during the summer period.
Participation in a strategic SAP migration and implementation project.
Collaboration with different departments and the opportunity to expand knowledge in master data management.
