About the role

In the Financial Instruments team at KPMG, you will have the opportunity to participate in consulting, auditing, and regulatory projects related to financial instruments, credit and market risks, as well as model development or valuation.

What you'll do

You will collaborate on accounting or regulatory consulting projects related to the application and interpretation of IFRS and banking regulations.
You will contribute to resolving accounting queries for clients across various sectors (hedging relationships or derivatives, restructuring of financial liabilities, factoring/confirming operations, etc.).
You will provide support in specialized auditing of financial instruments, documenting controls and performing substantive procedures to verify the correct classification and measurement of financial instruments under IFRS 9, and to ensure the proper application of hedge accounting.

You will participate in the analysis and valuation of financial instruments, as well as in the assessment of market and credit risks.

Asistencia en la implementación de normativa contable y prudencial (IFRS 9, NIIF 13, Nueva definición de Default), adaptando procesos de concesión, seguimiento y clasificación contable a los nuevos requerimientos regulatorios.
Participarás en el análisis y valoración de instrumentos financieros, así como en la evaluación de riesgos de mercado y crédito.
Apoyar en la elaboración y validación de reportes regulatorios requeridos por el supervisor, tales como estados reservados, operaciones intragrupo financieras, solvencia o cuentas anuales individuales.
Colaborar en tareas de análisis acerca de riesgo de liquidez, riesgo de mercado o riesgo operacional.
