Junior Data Engineer en España

As a Junior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the Data Analytics solutions that drive the digital transformation of Tax & Legal at KPMG Abogados.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team composed of different STEAM profiles with other specialties (Power Platform, RPA, Fabric, UX/UI...) and the various business areas, all qualified in different technological fields.

Tasks to be performed:

• Understand business problems and translate them into Data Analytics solutions.
• Preparation of the infrastructure (Azure, Fabric) and the ecosystem upon which the data team and business units depend. Integration of different solutions within a single environment.
• Develop and optimize automation and ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) projects.
• Processing and treatment of structured and unstructured data.
• Regarding business users, the tool will be Power BI; we will be in charge of ingestion, the ETL part, ensuring data quality, and modeling.
• You will participate in the complete project lifecycle.

• Degree in Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Engineering / Telecommunications or hybrid studies in these subjects

At least 1-2 years of experience in:

• development of solutions in programming languages such as Python.
• ETL development and pipeline automation
• visualization with Power BI
• English level: upper-intermediate to work on international projects

Skills and knowledge:

• Database management (SQL...)
• Proficiency in programming languages (Python and SQL)
• ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) techniques and best practices
• Data mining techniques

Valuable:

• Experience and/or knowledge in Microsoft Azure cloud architecture and services (Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, Azure Functions, Data Factory,...)
• Experience in Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience in Alteryx
