About the role

We are looking for a Java Backend Developer with experience in developing microservices-based applications, passionate about creating scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions. You will be part of a strategic project for one of our main clients in the banking sector, participating in the design and evolution of critical platforms with technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Cassandra, OpenShift, and REST APIs.

100% remote work within Spain.

What you'll do

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and associated frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, etc.).
Implement and consume REST APIs.
Deploy and operate applications in OpenShift environments.
Collaborate with frontend teams using React to ensure proper integration of services.
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration.
Analyze incidents and propose improvements in performance, scalability, and security.

Nice to have

Experience in frontend development with React.
Knowledge of CI/CD (GitHub Actions).
Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure).

Demonstrable experience in backend development with Java.

What you'll do

Diseñar, desarrollar y mantener servicios backend utilizando Java y frameworks asociados (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, etc.).
Implementar y consumir APIs REST.
Desplegar y operar aplicaciones en entornos OpenShift.
Colaborar con equipos frontend que utilizan React para garantizar una correcta integración de los servicios.
Participar en revisiones de código, pruebas unitarias e integración continua.
Analizar incidencias y proponer mejoras de rendimiento, escalabilidad y seguridad.

Nice to have

Experiencia en desarrollo frontend con React.
Conocimientos de CI/CD (GitHub Actions).
Experiencia en entornos cloud (AWS, Azure).
