About the role

At AVOS Tech, we are looking for an intern in Actuarial and Financial Sciences who wants to start and develop their professional career in the insurance sector.

We are looking for someone with a solid analytical and quantitative background, an interest in the actuarial field, and a desire to gain hands-on experience by participating in projects related to insurance, risk management, and processes.

What you'll do

You will join a specialized team where you will be able to participate and train in activities such as:

Support in the analysis of actuarial and insurance-related information and data.
Collaboration on Life and Non-Life insurance projects.
Support in actuarial calculations, models, and processes.
Participation in tasks related to risk management, solvency, and insurance products.
Analysis and processing of information using Excel and other quantitative tools.
Preparation of reports and technical documentation.
Functional support in technology-related projects and solutions for the insurance sector.
Collaboration with actuarial, functional, and technical team profiles.

What are we looking for?

Enrolled in a Master's degree in Actuarial and Financial Sciences or equivalent postgraduate training.
Previous university degree in fields such as:
Actuarial Sciences.
Mathematics.
Statistics.
Economics.
Finance.
Business Administration and Management (ADE) or other degrees with a strong quantitative focus.
Interest in developing a professional career in the actuarial and insurance field.
Strong analytical skills and ease in working with data.
Proficiency in Excel.
Capacity for learning, organization, and teamwork.
Possibility of signing an internship agreement with the university or study center.

We will especially value

Knowledge of actuarial mathematics for Life and Non-Life insurance.
Knowledge of Solvency II, ERM, ALM, biometrics, or risk management.
Training in statistics, econometrics, or quantitative models.
Knowledge of Python, R, SQL, Power BI, VBA, or other data analysis tools.
Knowledge of or interest in how insurance companies operate and their processes.

Participación en tareas relacionadas con gestión de riesgos, solvencia y productos aseguradores.
Análisis y tratamiento de información mediante Excel y otras herramientas cuantitativas.
Elaboración de informes y documentación técnica.
Apoyo funcional en proyectos y soluciones tecnológicas vinculadas al sector asegurador.
Colaboración con perfiles actuariales, funcionales y tecnológicos del equipo.

¿Qué buscamos?

Estudiante del Máster en Ciencias Actuariales y Financieras o formación de posgrado equivalente.
Titulación universitaria previa en áreas como:
Ciencias Actuariales.
Matemáticas.
Estadística.
Economía.
Finanzas.
ADE u otras titulaciones con una base cuantitativa relevante.
Interés por desarrollar una carrera profesional dentro del ámbito actuarial y asegurador.
Buena capacidad analítica y facilidad para trabajar con datos.
Manejo de Excel.
