Recognize, identify, and document potential areas where existing business processes require changes, or where new processes need to be developed, and make recommendations.
Ensure GFT's capability to implement and deliver the designed solution by working closely with the designated delivery units.
Identify, assess, and minimize the risk associated with the company's cloud privacy.

We currently have an open position for a Senior Data Engineer who wants to join GFT. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic person willing to start and grow in a multicultural, motivating, and challenging environment.

Requirements

More than 5 years of experience implementing data storage and processing services.
Expert in the Python, SQL, and dbt stack for developing ETL/ELT processes.
Experience in Data environments (Pyspark, Spark, etc.).
Experience managing complex and reusable pipelines.
Previous experience in cloud environments with AWS and Redshift.
Automate data processing tasks using scripting languages such as Python.
Essential proficiency with tools such as DBeaver, Jira, and technical documentation in Confluence.
High English level (B2).

Personal competencies:

Teamwork.
Communication skills, fostering dynamics that allow the flow of knowledge, with an interest in both learning and teaching.
Proactivity in seeking new solutions and improvements.

Desarrollar y organizar sistemas en la nube.
Crear una estrategia para la nube y gestionar el proceso de adopción.
Reconocer, identificar y documentar áreas potenciales donde los procesos comerciales existentes requieren cambios, o donde se necesitan desarrollar nuevos procesos, y hacer recomendaciones.
Asegurar la capacidad de GFT para implementar y entregar la solución diseñada trabajando en estrecha colaboración con las unidades de entrega designadas.
Identificar, evaluar y minimizar el riesgo asociado con la privacidad en la nube de la empresa.

Requisitos

Experiencia de más de 5 años en la implementación de servicios de almacenamiento y procesamiento de datos.
Experto en el stack de Python, SQL y dbt para el desarrollo de procesos ETL/ELT
Experiencia en entornos Data ( Pyspark, Spark etc).
Experiencia en la gestión de pipelines complejos y reutilizables.
Experiencia previa en entornos de nube con AWS y Redshift.
Automatizar tareas de procesamiento de datos utilizando lenguajes de scripting como Python.
Manejo imprescindible de herramientas como DBeaver, Jira y documentación técnica en Confluence
Nivel de inglés alto (B2).

Competencias personales:

Trabajo en equipo.
Habilidades de comunicación, favoreciendo dinámicas que permitan el flujo de conocimiento, con interés tanto en aprender como en enseñar.
Proactividad en la búsqueda de nuevas soluciones y mejoras
