Introduction: An opportunity for a Harness / Electrical & Electronics Manufacturing Engineer - Spacecraft AIT has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe (Madrid).
Brief description of the department's mission: The selected candidate will join the Technological Areas Team, supporting a specific set of Space projects.
The purpose of the Manufacturing Engineer (ME) is to deliver an end-to-end, time- and cost-optimized harness manufacturing and integration process that meets project requirements while complying with Airbus business standards, practices and procedures.
As a key role at Project level, the Manufacturing Engineer participates in product definition, manufacturing process definition and integration technology selection, ensuring that time, cost and quality requirements are achieved. This includes applying principles such as modularization, standardization, LEAN, shared integrated systems, accessibility, industrial viability, eco-efficiency and ergonomics.
