About Pillar

Pillar is one of the fast growing startup from Italy which raised 3.2M€ pre-seed, 10 months later reached 1M€ ARR, and a couple of months later raised the biggest seed round of Italy: 12M€.
Pillar is the new standard for constructions

An enormous industry full of inefficiencies and slow processes—one that moves billions but still operates as if it were the 1900s. We are changing this with AI and a fast, simple, and scalable product.

We’ve closed one of the largest pre-seed rounds in Italy and we are moving fast: if you want to write code that ends up in the hands of the people building our cities, you’re in the right place.

What You'll Bring as a Full Stack Engineer

You have proven experience working with early-stage startups (0 → 10M€ ARR).
You know our tech stack like the back of your hand (React, https://jobeax.com/link/Z30sZYC3jcRenVso, Supabase, TypeScript)
You don't ship code, but you build a product
You have developed both hard and soft skills alongside an A+ team
High IQ, high energy, high integrity

How we work

Agile : Teams are structured into squads, each responsible for its own domain. No middle management—initiatives are bottom-up.
AI-first : We are building software in the age of AI, delivering real value to Italian SMEs.
Full stack ownership : Full autonomy and independence. Every team member is hands-on and evaluated on their ability to deliver value with their team.

Pillar is not for you if

You are an individualist: successes and failures are shared. We value collaboration and collective effort toward common goals.
You need rigid structure: Pillar embraces and thrives in controlled chaos, with a fluid and flexible structure that allows us to move fast.
You don’t take ownership: we promote a strong ownership culture where every team is accountable for its outcomes. Initiatives are bottom-up.
Watchout: working at Pillar is really demanding. Apply only if you are ready to give the 110% for the cause.
