Join us in the Amazon Maintenance Operation Centre (AMOC) team. We maintain and optimize technologies in the Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network.

Purpose of job

Amazon is a global leader in sustainable transportation solutions, dedicated to advancing the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) and reducing our carbon footprint. Our state-of-the-art EV charging infrastructure continues to grow and span across the globe, providing reliable and accessible charging solutions to Amazons transportation network. AMOC is seeking an experienced Electric Vehicle Charger Project Manager responsible for the remote coordination of maintenance activities across our global charging network.

What you'll do

Key job responsibilities

Drive continuous improvement in EV charging operations and maintenance processes.
Serve as the main point of escalation for complex technical issues, facilitate cross-functional meetings, and make key decisions regarding EV charging infrastructure.
Establish and maintain rigorous quality control standards for EV charger installation, maintenance SOPs, and technical documentation.
Implement tracking systems and KPIs to monitor EV charger uptime, utilization, maintenance costs, and overall performance metrics.
Oversee global budgets for EV charger installation, maintenance, and repair activities, optimizing costs while ensuring high-quality service.
Collaborate with procurement and stakeholders to establish and manage vendor contracts and SLAs for EV charging equipment and maintenance services. Maintain strong vendor relationships.
Partner with utility companies and local authorities for power infrastructure planning and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with Engineering teams to implement best practices for EV charger reliability, preventive maintenance, and asset optimization across the network.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or completed an indentured Electrical Apprenticeship or equivalent.
Strong technical knowledge of EV charging systems and infrastructure.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Financial acumen and budget management experience.
Strong project management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Program/Project management of EVC electrification.
Experience within the EV charging industry.
Proficient in other spoken languages.
