We're looking for an Editorial Assistant to join our team in Spain and support our 360° content merchandising strategy around DAZN's biggest live events.

This is a hybrid role combining Editorial and Territory Planning, giving you exposure to everything from day-to-day content execution to the planning, coordination and optimisation of content priorities across the Spanish market.

The Role:
As Editorial Assistant, you'll help shape how DAZN's content is planned, promoted and activated across the Spanish market.

You'll work across both live and non-live content, helping translate global and local priorities into clear content plans and ensuring the right events and stories are activated at the right time across DAZN's on-platform and off-platform channels.

A key part of the role will be coordinating Editorial and Production information, maintaining the Spanish content calendar and ensuring teams have accurate and up-to-date information for upcoming events.

Working closely with Editorial, Production, Social Media, SEO, Partnerships, PR and Marketing, you'll help create a joined-up approach to content while using audience insights and performance data to identify opportunities and improve future planning.

This role will be based in our Madrid office.

• Support the delivery of DAZN's 360° content merchandising strategy for Spain across Live Events and Non-Live content.
• Help plan, prioritise and maintain the Spanish content and activation calendar, translating global and local priorities into clear territory-specific plans.
• Schedule and manage Editorial and Production information, ensuring event, match and content details are accurate, up to date and communicated to the right teams.
• Act as a key point of contact between local and Central teams, supporting Editorial and Production with day-to-day requirements and helping resolve operational needs.
• Coordinate with Editorial, Production, Social Media, SEO, Partnerships, PR and Marketing to ensure content opportunities are effectively activated across multiple channels.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate match schedules across competitions and ensure all relevant information is captured and communicated.
• Support the distribution and merchandising of content across on-platform and off-platform channels, ensuring Live and near-Live Events receive consistent, high-quality coverage.
• Use audience insights and performance data to identify content opportunities, analyse the performance of events and support future editorial and territory planning decisions.
• Stay close to the Spanish sports and media landscape, identifying emerging stories, trends and opportunities that can help DAZN engage its audiences.

• A degree in Media, Communications, Marketing, Journalism or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Some experience within editorial, content planning, content merchandising, media, digital marketing or a similar environment.
• A strong understanding of digital content and how audiences consume sports and entertainment across different platforms.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple schedules, events and information flows simultaneously.
• A proactive and collaborative approach, with strong communication skills and the confidence to work with multiple teams and stakeholders.
• An analytical mindset with an interest in using audience and performance data to understand what works and improve future content decisions.
• Knowledge of content creation tools such as Adobe Premiere and Photoshop would be advantageous.
• A genuine passion for sport and a strong understanding of the Spanish sports, media and digital landscape.
• Native-level Spanish and fluency in English, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment.
