The Role

As a Digital Analytics & Data Science Intern within the Trading Performance & Optimization team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of one of Spain’s leading sports streaming platforms by supporting data-driven decision-making across DAZN’s digital ecosystem.

As DAZN continues to grow its subscriber base, expand its content offering, and optimize customer experiences, the need for advanced analytical capabilities is increasing. This internship is designed to strengthen the team’s ability to transform large and complex datasets into actionable insights, enabling smarter commercial decisions, improved customer engagement, and greater return on content and marketing investments. The role also provides hands-on exposure to data science techniques, experimentation, and predictive analytics in a fast-paced digital environment.

• Support the extraction, transformation, analysis, and visualization of large datasets related to customer acquisition, retention, engagement, content performance, and commercial outcomes.  
• Develop and maintain dashboards, automated reporting solutions, and analytical frameworks to support strategic and operational decision-making.  
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business optimization.  
• Apply statistical methods and data science techniques to understand customer behaviour, forecast performance, and generate actionable recommendations.  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate product, content, and marketing initiatives through data-driven analysis.  
• Contribute to experimentation and A/B testing analysis to measure the impact of new initiatives.  
• Present insights and recommendations in a clear and compelling way to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

This role will be based in our Madrid office. The internal title will be Digital Analyst, and it will be a 6 month contract.

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.  
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for solving business problems through data.  
• Knowledge of SQL and experience with Python or R for data analysis (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn or similar libraries are a plus).  
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is desirable.  
• Understanding of statistical concepts and an interest in predictive modelling and machine learning.  
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into business insights.  
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.  
• Fluent in both Spanish and English, written and spoken.
• This is an internship for 6 months to build experience and a career in Marketing Analytics and Data Science, ideal for anyone who has finished a related degree program.
