About the role

At AVOS Tech, we are looking for a DevOps Intern to join the technology team and gain practical experience in automation, continuous integration and delivery, cloud, and systems administration. You will participate, with team support, in tasks related to CI/CD pipelines, containers, scripting, infrastructure, and databases. What you'll do

Collaborate on the implementation, maintenance,
Participate in managing Git repositories, applying good version control practices, branch creation, code review, and code integration.
Support the creation and maintenance of container environments using Docker and Docker Compose, performing basic configurations and checks under team supervision.
Develop simple scripts using Bash, PowerShell, or Python to automate operational tasks and reduce repetitive manual processes.
Collaborate on monitoring and administration tasks for services deployed on cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
Provide support in managing Linux and Windows systems, participating in incident analysis, configuration reviews, and maintenance tasks.
Participate in tasks related to Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server databases, including queries, basic configurations, and monitoring their operation.
Document procedures, configurations, automations, and technical learnings to facilitate maintenance and knowledge transfer within the team.

What we're looking for

Be currently pursuing or have recently completed studies related to Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Systems Administration, Application Development, or equivalent technical training.
Have basic knowledge of Git and version control, acquired through academic training, personal projects, or internships.
Have basic knowledge of Linux and/or Windows systems and understand fundamental concepts of system administration.
Know the fundamentals of Docker and containers, although prior professional experience is not required.
Have scripting or programming skills with Bash, PowerShell, Python, or another automation-oriented language.
Understand basic concepts of networks, communications, services, and the operation of technological infrastructures.
Show interest in developing a professional career in DevOps, automation, systems, cloud, and infrastructure.
Possess the ability to learn, organize, and document, as well as a willingness to work collaboratively and progressively take on new responsibilities.

Nice to have

Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools or languages used to automate integration and deployment processes, such as Groovy.
Familiarity with a cloud platform such as GCP, AWS, or Azure, whether through training, certifications, or personal projects.
Basic knowledge of Terraform or Ansible and of concepts related to infrastructure as code and configuration automation.
Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server, and the ability to perform basic SQL queries.
Basic knowledge of monitoring, logs, incident management, security, credentials, and access control in technology environments.

What you'll do

What we're looking for
