Experience in data integration and transformation from multiple sources into platforms such as data lakes and data warehouses. A proven track record in optimizing data system performance and developing robust and automated data pipelines.

🧠 What knowledge are we looking for?

• Experience in the design and implementation of data pipelines using tools such as Apache Spark, Airflow, or similar.

• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, and cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure).

• Advanced knowledge in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.

• Familiarity with the use of ETL/ELT tools and data integration solutions.

• Experience in the design, development, and maintenance of APIs and endpoints (e.g., RESTful) for data exposure and consumption.

• Knowledge of best practices in data security, governance, and quality.

• Valuable experience in messaging systems and data streaming such as Kafka, MQTT, or Pub/Sub.

We are looking for a profile that has analytical thinking and an orientation toward problem-solving. One that has the ability to communicate complex findings clearly and effectively, converting complex technical concepts into useful information for decision-making.

One that works in dynamic environments, and shows curiosity and proactivity to investigate and apply new analytical methodologies, having a strategic vision to align analytical solutions with business objectives.

Training in Big Data, cloud architectures, or certifications such as Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer, AWS Certified Data Analytics, or Azure Data Engineer is valued.

Experience in sectors such as mobility, transport, or data-intensive industries is a plus.

🚀Your mission will be to design, build, and optimize the data architectures of Grupo Ruiz, guaranteeing the quality, availability, and scalability necessary to support the data strategy defined by the Head of Data and AI.

🙌What will your duties be?

• Design and develop efficient and scalable data pipelines to integrate and transform data from multiple sources.

• Implement and maintain modern data architectures, such as data lakes and data warehouses, ensuring their performance and scalability.

• Optimize data processing systems to guarantee their efficiency and availability.

• Collaborate with the Data Science team to prepare and supply the datasets necessary for advanced analysis.

• Develop and manage APIs/endpoints to serve datasets to applications, services, and other areas of the company.

• Guarantee data quality, security, and governance through the implementation of best practices and corporate policies.

• Identify opportunities for improvement in data systems and propose innovative solutions.

What will your responsibilities be?

• Ensure the integrity and availability of data within the Grupo Ruiz platforms.

• Supervise and maintain automated data flows, responding quickly to any incidents.

• Document the developed processes and architectures, promoting knowledge transfer within the team.

• Collaborate with the Head of Data and AI to align technical solutions with the strategic objectives of the organization.
