Data Center Sales & Business Development Manager en Valencia, España

Datacenter People are currently supporting a fast-growing software company specialising in Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) and intelligent infrastructure solutions in the search for a Sales & Business Development Manager to join their Southern Europe team, based in Madrid.

This is a true hunter role focused on developing new business across Spain, Italy and the wider Southern European region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building pipeline, developing strategic customer relationships and driving the adoption of innovative DCIM software solutions within the rapidly growing data center market. The business already has an active pipeline in Spain and Italy, but is looking for someone who can significantly expand this through proactive business development.

The Opportunity

You will represent an innovative DCIM software platform used to help data center operators improve infrastructure visibility, operational efficiency and asset management.

Working closely with Product, Engineering and Pre-Sales teams, you'll engage consultants, contractors, system integrators, end users and channel partners, identifying opportunities from early-stage engagement through to commercial close.

What the Job Involves…

• Develop new business opportunities across Spain, Italy and Southern Europe
• Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and networking
• Develop relationships with data center operators, consultants, contractors and end users
• Identify opportunities with system integrators and channel partners
• Manage opportunities from initial engagement through to contract award
• Deliver commercial presentations and solution positioning to prospective customers
• Work closely with Pre-Sales and Product teams to develop winning proposals and demonstrations
• Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM pipeline management
• Represent the business at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities
• Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to support future product strategy

This is an autonomous role offering significant ownership and the opportunity to establish long-term customer relationships within one of Europe's fastest-growing digital infrastructure markets.

We're Looking for Someone Who...

• Experience selling into the data center market
• Strong business development and new logo acquisition experience
• Established network across the Southern European data center ecosystem
• Experience selling enterprise software, DCIM, networking infrastructure or related technologies
• Comfortable engaging consultants, contractors, end users and senior decision makers
• Commercially driven with a proactive, hunter mentality
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Fluent Spanish and English (Italian would be advantageous)

Candidates from DCIM vendors, system integrators, structured cabling, networking infrastructure, intelligent building technologies or wider data center solution providers would be particularly well suited. Those looking to move from a systems integrator into an OEM/vendor environment would also be of strong interest.
