Openbank is looking for a Customer Acquisition Strategy Lead based out of Madrid, Spain.

Customer Strategy is part of Openbank's Growth organization and is responsible for defining the bank's commercial strategy across the customer lifecycle. As the starting point of the commercial journey, the team combines customer, market and business insights to shape the strategic priorities that drive acquisition, engagement and long-term value. Working cross-functionally across Growth, Customer Strategy ensures these priorities are translated into measurable business outcomes.

As Customer Acquisition Strategy Lead, you will drive Openbank's customer growth by shaping the long-term acquisition strategy and ensuring it translates into sustainable business results. You will combine market insights, customer understanding and business analysis to identify growth opportunities, influence strategic decisions and accelerate the evolution of our commercial proposition across the end-to-end customer journey.

• Define and continuously evolve Openbank's customer acquisition strategy, identifying growth opportunities through market analysis, competitive benchmarking and customer insights.
• Design differentiated commercial initiatives and long-term acquisition propositions aligned with Openbank's value proposition and strategic priorities.
• Analyze the end-to-end analysis of the acquisition funnel, identifying conversion opportunities, customer frictions and optimization levers across the digital customer journey.
• Monitor acquisition KPIs and commercial performance, generating insights to support strategic decision making and proactively identifying risks and opportunities.
• Prioritize strategic initiatives and budget allocation balancing customer growth, acquisition quality, commercial objectives and business efficiency.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives, coordinating Product, Marketing, Data, Operations and Technology teams to ensure successful execution and timely delivery of strategic projects.

• CRM & Digital Marketing ecosystems.
• Banking Products & Customer Lifecycle.

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field. (Required)
• Additional education or certifications in Strategy, Data Analytics, Marketing or Digital Business. (Preferred)

• Spanish (Full Professional Proficiency).
• English (Professional Working Proficiency - C1).

The following requirements represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities essential for success in this role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• 5+ years of experience in Strategy Consulting or in Corporate Strategy, Business Development, Growth or Commercial Strategy roles within Banking, Financial Services or Digital businesses.
• Proven experience defining growth or commercial strategies based on data and business insights.
• Experience analysing business performance, customer behaviour and commercial KPIs.
• Experience leading cross-functional strategic initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
• Previous experience in digital banking, customer acquisition or digital growth environments will be highly valued.
