Application & Infrastructure Engineer! — 100% Remote ❗ - Fluent English (C1)

️ Position Summary:

We are seeking an Application & Infrastructure Engineer responsible for the operation, maintenance, and evolution of a business web application platform. The role combines infrastructure management with application support and development responsibilities, ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of our services.

The successful candidate will manage the infrastructure hosting the application, including a selfhosted RabbitMQ environment running on company managed virtual machines, while also implementing changes in the application's Spring Boot backend and Angular frontend components.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience administering Linux server environments.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot development.
• Experience managing and supporting RabbitMQ or similar messaging platforms.
• Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and backend service development.
• Experience with Git and software development lifecycle processes.
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools.
• Experience supporting production environments in enterprise settings.

️ Key Responsabilities:

• Administer and maintain application infrastructure hosted on virtual machines.
• Monitor system health, performance, capacity, and availability.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application related incidents.
• Implement security updates, configuration changes, and operational improvements.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy enhancements to a Spring Boot/Angular based web application.
• CI/CD processes and release management activities.
• Maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Monitor application logs and messaging services.
• Participate in root cause analysis and incident management activities.
